Jason's drum is a true one-off. As one of the very first ones to be done, we were experimenting w/ different finishes and came up with this one. Have no idea what it is, what to name it, how we came up with it, and we couldn't reproduce it if we tried. Thanks to Jason for stopping by to see us @ NAMM .

Production Manager Pete Shaleen was fortunate to present Lenny with his new drum in person!! We attended the Return to Forever show in May of 2008 in Minneapolis, and here is Lenny seeing it for the first time.
Lenny decided to try it out right away before the show, and he seemed very impressed. We later found out he was so impressed with the sound that he used it THAT NIGHT DURING THE SHOW, trusting how it would sound without any soundcheck!! We were truly blown away and want to Thank Lenny.
